How UCOTRA Consulting collects, uses, and protects personal data shared through this website.

1. Data controller

2. What we collect

We collect the data you actively provide to us, plus technical data needed to operate the site, prevent spam and measure audience.

From the contact form: name, email address, phone (optional), company (optional), subject (optional), and the content of your message.

From the careers form: name, email, phone, LinkedIn profile (optional), and the documents you upload (CV, cover letter, additional documents).

Technical data captured with each submission for security and anti-spam purposes: IP address, approximate location inferred from the IP via ip-api.com, browser, operating system and device type.

Audience measurement: Google Analytics may collect aggregated visit information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device category, browser and interaction events.

3. Why we use this data

  • To respond to your enquiry or application.
  • To detect and block spam or abusive submissions.
  • To keep records of business contacts for legitimate follow-up.
  • To understand website traffic and improve content, navigation and conversion paths.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.

4. Where it goes

Submissions are stored in our private database, accessible only to authorised UCOTRA personnel. A notification email is sent to contact@ucotraconsulting.com for each new submission, including the technical data above.

For careers applications, the documents you upload are stored on our server and made available to authorised recruiters. They are not shared outside UCOTRA without your explicit consent.

Google Analytics is provided by Google and processes audience data according to its own technical and privacy terms.

5. How long we keep it

  • Contact enquiries: retained for up to 24 months from the last interaction, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Careers applications: retained for up to 24 months for active and passive talent pipelines, then deleted unless you ask us to keep them longer or delete them sooner.
  • Technical / anti-spam data: retained alongside the related submission and deleted at the same time.
  • Analytics data: retained according to the Google Analytics property settings.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, in particular Morocco Law 09-08 and the EU GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, object to, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your personal data.

To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@ucotraconsulting.com with sufficient information for us to identify you. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Data is stored on servers located within the European Union and access is restricted to authorised personnel. Google Analytics is used for audience measurement, not advertising or retargeting.

8. Updates

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The “last updated” date at the top indicates when the document was last revised.
